Here comes round 2 of #SampleSundays! This week we hit the J. Cole track, Cost Me A Lot. The song clearly has a sampled sound to it once you hit play but, the you may never guess that the tempo of the original track was sped up a bit and know how the sample was chopped.

Eleanora Fagan, a.k.a, Billie Holiday was easily one of the stronger singers coming out of her era and transitioning a new style to the smooth sounds of jazz. Billie Holiday had this was of playing with words and tempo that defined her as an artist. Holiday’s, My Man, wasn’t one of her popular tracks, especially with her creating songs, God Bless The Child and Lady Sings The Blues.
