Red Bull Skooled Tour Recap [Videos]

Just a few weeks after wrapping up the RedBull Skooled Tour, the good folks at Redbull have released the recap video of one of the most amazing tours I got to be apart of.

We all started as strangers on that first day in Houston and left as family just 7 short days after. Each night brought a new city, and each night their craft strengthened just a little more.

The acts included Dallas duo A.Dd+, WorldWide out of San Antonio, Kydd from Austin Texas, and The NiceGuys representing Houston. Although the acts all had a different style, putting them together was beyond genius and worked out perfectly, props to Redbull.

Angelina Roz drops visuals for her first single, Why You. This is a creative video to an entertaining song that will make you want to get to know Angelina even more.

Singer-songwriter-pianist Angelina Roz was born into a musical family in Moscow, in then communist Soviet Union. After they fled to working-class East London,11-year-old Angelina, language barrier or not, was showcasing her talents onstage nearly nightly alongside her family. By her twenties, her completely self-produced songs had clocked a million Myspace hits and she was on a plane to meet interested A&Rs in New York City at the insistence of her terminally ill mother, who passed away a week later. Emotionally strained and disheartened, it left Angelina all but homeless in NYC, the city she credits with igniting the creative burst that has resulted in her forthcoming EP The Carnival And The Tears. Roz describes The Carnival as “summer London Town sound” and The Tears as a heartfelt account of her rollercoaster year. Roz is a resident at BBC 3’s Late Junction Max Reinhardt live night Radio Gagarin show.

While the Club Paradise Tour travels from state to state, Kendrick has been kicking his bars from Buried Alive, off of Drake’s Take Care album. This has become Kendrick’s track to open to for every show so far and I definitely see why. Here’s footage of him performing the track in Nashville.
